Hope received her Master of Arts in Psychology from Houston Baptist University, Master of Arts Certificate in Jewish Studies from the Laura and Alvin Segal College, and was a chaplain fellow for 2 years, while completing 8 units of Clinical Pastoral Education at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and is a Licensed Psychological Associate in the state of Texas. She is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and a Reiki Master.
She is the Director of theVelva G. and H. Fred Levine Jewish Chaplaincy Program of Jewish Family Service in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston and the Jewish Denominational Coordinator of Jewish Chaplaincy at MD Anderson and the Texas Medical Center.

Congratulations Irene Prather!
Irene graduated from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in 1979 and is currently the Medical Director at Vitas Innovative Hospice in Dallas, TX. She became board certified in family practice in 1983 and in hospice and palliative medicine in 2008. After finishing her residency in 1982, she began practicing as a Staff Family Physician in Evergreen, CO. She came back to Texas in 2005 and became the Medical Director at Vitas Healthcare shortly after, in 2008.
With over 40 years of experience in the medical field, Irene shares her expertise by giving lectures for Hospice doctors, nurses and hospitals in the Dallas area.
