Investment Builder, retired Dentist, and WWII Veteran Roy Tashnek's love of life did not come to an end with his death. He passed away on July 23, 2021 at the age of 101 ½ after bouts with melanoma and heart failure. His legacy of inspiring others and leaving strip centers and commercial warehouses in the Houston area is a testament to his great passion for building. His heart left a beacon of light for his family, friends, and community.

He is survived by his children Julianne Bartlein and her husband Sanford Elstein, Nanette Tashnek, Warren Tashnek and by his grandson Jason Bartlein and great grandson Jackson Bartlein; along with nieces and nephews.
