Estelle Jucker was born on May 26, 1937 in Houston, TX. After graduating from San Jacinto High School, she began working in a medical lab. In the spring of 1960, Estelle was set up on a blind date with Sol Jucker, one of the founders of Three Brothers Bakery. With a leap of faith, they were married 6 weeks later and enjoyed 43 years of marriage. They had three daughters, Maurine, Renee, and Marsha, each 18 months apart.

Over the years Estelle was very involved in raising and caring for her three daughters, managing the household while her husband worked at the family bakery, and working in real estate at Vonnie Cobb Realtors. Later, she would become very involved with BBYO as an advisor to 63 and a founder of the Wise Chapter. Estelle always encouraged her girls to be involved in the Jewish community through organizations and activities. She enjoyed being involved with Hadassah, loved to cook every night for her family, and loved to collect cookbooks and share recipes. She had a large library of cookbooks that she planned to pass down to her children and grandchildren. Estelle truly enjoyed being social. When her children were younger, she and Sol would dress up for dinner and dancing on Sunday nights at The Shamrock Hilton. They had family outings and dinners together on Mondays, Sol's day off.

Estelle adored her family and friends, lived her life fully and was a great listener. She always enjoyed being with friends and family for late-night coffee at Jo Jo's and dinners out. Estelle had a lifelong love of playing games. She played Sudoku, Yahtzee, Gin Rummy, Rummikub and Saturday night poker with friends and family. She participated in beauty shop Super Bowl squares and stayed up late watching game shows.

Family gatherings for all Jewish holidays and other occasions were a must for Estelle. She hosted as many family members and friends as she could in her home, providing a feast for all. She loved annual Passover vacations. When Sol was living, they enjoyed cruises and trips to Miami or Vegas. In later years, she loved overnight trips to Lake Charles and playing the slot machines.

Estelle was a very dedicated wife and a late-night owl. She cooked Sol a hot meal before he went to work every night and dinner every afternoon when he returned. Because of Sol's late night work schedule at the bakery, Estelle stayed up most nights until early morning. In addition to Sol's commitment to baking, Estelle loved to share her passion for cooking and baking with her children and grandchildren. She was an excellent dessert baker and thoroughly enjoyed creating recipes. She also loved to take her children and grandchildren to lunch or dinner, whenever they were available.

Estelle is preceded in death by her loving husband, Sol Jucker; her parents, Sylvia, and Morris Lichtenstein; her sister and brother-in-law Betty and Seymour Aronowitz; her brother-in-law Melvin Lewis; her sister-in-law Janie Rudy, her brothers-in-law Sigmund and Max Jucker, and sister-in-law Ann Jucker.

She is survived by her three children and sons-in-law, Maurine and Marc Rothschild, Renee and Alan Helfman, Marsha & Keith Rubenstein; her sweet grandchildren: Blake and his wife Hilary, Eric, and Caitlin Helfman; Andrew, Cameron, Lauren, and Jamie Rubenstein; and great-grandchild Hudson Helfman. She is also survived by her dear sister, Marion Lewis, her sister-in-law Edith Jucker, many nieces and nephews, and many other loving friends and family. We want to thank her long-time friends Onie Williams and Mary Thierry for their tender loving care and attention.

Estelle always had a compassionate heart for any person or animal in need and donated to many organizations. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Houston SPCA or Humane Society, Holocaust Museum Houston, or your local food bank in Estelle Jucker's memory.
