Ronald Burg passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family members. Ronald is survived by son Michael Burg and wife Jean, daughter Pamela Burg, and daughter Meryl Wayne and husband Steven Wayne. Ronald had four granddaughters: Sarah Siminic (husband Tim Siminic), Alexandra Burg, Melissa Wayne, and Elyse Wayne. Ronald also had a great-grandson, Dylan Siminic.

Ronnie never met a stranger! He was always full of jokes, even ones his loving family members had heard many times! His joy was so contagious that you couldn't help but laugh with him, as that was his one goal in life: to make those around him happy.

His great love, Carole Burg, passed away on January 28, 2019. Married 63 years, Ronnie said that he took one look at her on their first date and knew they'd be together forever. And they will be.

Ronnie spent his professional career in the designer ladies shoe business. He moved his family from New York to Dallas in the 1960's with the opening of Northpark Mall to manage the I.Miller shoe store, and became President of the Northpark Merchants Association. He then opened two locations of shoe stores called "Shoe Finds" in North Dallas. His wife and daughters were not only lucky to have him as a husband & dad, but lucky to have a husband & dad who brought home the most gorgeous shoes!

He was a true "mensch" in every sense of the word. His love for his family knew no bounds, and he will be extremely missed.

Ron was a great guy and will be missed!
He lit up the Flower Mound Senior Center when he was around!
His stories will be missed also!

Ron was probably the friendliest man I’d ever met. Always so kind to everyone. I will miss him.

I was lucky enough to meet Ron at the infamous “Cardiac Rehab” He always knew how to bring a smile to anyones face. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

I did not know Ron or Carole but know their daughter, Pam. Pam shared with me her love for her parents. She adored/adores her parents. While this is a sad event I think Ron was ready to be with the love of this life. May God bless you - May God keep you. Much love, b

Ron & Carole were such a delight to be around! I too heard many of his funny jokes & stories. Ron was my go to guy when I bought shoes at Nordstrom’s. He was a very special person and so caring. I met many of the family at Meryl’s house to celebrate his 80th birthday and again at Carole’s funeral. He talked about his family all the time and loved you all very much. I thought of him often after I left the hospital (cardiac rehab) and retired. He was a true friend. Mike, my husband, and I will miss him so much. I am very sorry for the loss of your Dad and Granddad. Ronna Conley
