Arkadiy Rozinoyer, 88, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016, in Houston, Texas. Arkadiy was born in Baku (former Soviet Union), on March 21, 1928. His father, Alexander Rozinoyer (1904 - 1937), was a victim of Stalin's repressions, and his mother, Zaverukha Ekaterina (1907 - 1968), survived him to raise their son, Alexander.
In March 1944, after seeing the horrors of war brought on by Nazi Germany, he proudly volunteered to join the Soviet Union Navy to fight against German Nazis . He successfully completed training and became submarine electrician. In 1951, he was honorably discharged from the Soviet Navy.
In 1958, he graduated from Azerbaijan Industrial Institute as a Drilling Engineer, which was the beginning of his lifelong career in the exploration of offshore oil & gas fields. His talents were quickly recognized, and he advanced throughout his career. He retired in 1991, as the Head Engineer for a subsidiary of Caspian Offshore Oil & Gas Corporation.
In December 1991, he emigrated to USA and joined his with his son Alexander Rozinoyer.
Arkadiy Rozinoyer is survived of his son Alexander Rozinoyer; daughter-in-law - Helen Rozinoyer and granddaughter Natalie Rozinoyer.
